When you edit a vendor’s configuration (either by clicking its icon on the vendors page, or by ticking several vendors and clicking the button), the vendor configuration page will open. Prominent on it is the Filtering & Sorting section, which allows you to carefully control which properties appear in a given vendor and the order in which they appear. It looks like this:
Filtering
There are a number of ways you can filter the contents of a vendor ...
Choose whether to show all properties, only those available (e.g. not rented, reserved or locked) or only those properties with a tenant.
Filter by name or location; e.g. enter “Apartment” to show only properties with the word “Apartment” in their rental name or location.
By price you can show only properties whose rental price is more than and/or less than a value you choose.
If you’ve organized your boxes into box groups, you can choose to show only boxes that appear in a particular box group by choosing it from the pick list.
And, of course, you can combine these criteria; so for example you could only show available properties in the “My Nice Island” sim that cost more than L$250 and less than L$500 to rent and who are part of the “My First Group” box group. Filtering is a powerful feature and offers lots of possibilities.
