The hippoVEND Web-Enabled Networked Vending System is an easy to use and remarkably powerful vending system, allowing you to easily sell your products anywhere you choose through Second Life.

It consists of a server, into which you place your products, and vendors which you can rez throughout the Grid. When a customer pays a vendor, or clicks it for information, it contacts the server to deliver the item or information notecard. This means you can sell your items in as many locations as you wish, yet only have to keep the inventory up to date on one server.

As with all our products, hippoVEND is also powerfully extensible. By adding the hippoGIFT module, you can sell or distribute gift vouchers that can be exchanged for products in your vendors — a great way to boost sales, especially at Christmas time for example. Whilst the hippoINVENTORY tool makes managing the contents of your servers a breeze, with one of the best inventory management systems in the virtual world!

Web-Enabled Setup your products in lightning fast time using our easy to use website. Command and control your vendors and servers even when you're not logged into Second Life. And easily keep track of what's selling well, to whom and where.   "Keyless" Server Technology Unlike some other vendor products, our servers don't rely on Second Life "keys". So sims can crash and restart, you can take our servers into inventory and re-rez them --- and your sales network won't crash.   Quick Setup Rez a server, add some inventory, define some products online, rez a vendor and you're done. As your business grows, you'll appreciate advanced options, like the ability to quickly change multiple product definitions at once. Limited Edition Product Selling Easily sell items that you have transfer but not copy permissions for; ideal if you buy in bulk from a product maker and resell in to people. The hippoVEND website will be instantly updated with supply levels from your servers, warning you when supplies fall low.     Price Products in L$ or US$ If you use the latter option, your vendors will regularly check the current exchange rate live from Lindex and adjust the sales price accordingly.
